The Challenge
Working with Turbine Creative on this project for Thermo Fisher Scientific, the brief was to showcase ChemDex, a platform that simplifies sourcing and purchasing chemical compounds. The challenge was explaining multiple user journeys and interface features in a way that felt clear and engaging, all while staying on brand and syncing with the voiceover.
The Solution
A hybrid 2D/3D animation approach that brought the platform to life through dynamic device scenes and animated UI elements. Each scene was carefully planned to determine which elements would be 3D rendered and which would remain 2D, with seamless transitions between platform features timed precisely to the voiceover. The result was a polished explainer that made the workflow feel simple.
